The Fractured Tower

In this project, I experimented with adding 3d to my design pipeline instead of relying solely on 2D. Previously, I would typically only use Blender as a means of aiding with complex perspective with certain shots but in this case, I made use of textures and lighting to establish a color palette for my final keyframes.

Lore: The fractured Eye is an overactive magical nexus, where multiple ley lines intersect and scar the landscape. At it's center lives a lonely mage who resides in the structure you see in the center, who ensures the overflowing magical energy does not reach critical mass; as the result of which would be catastrophic.
