DESCRIPTION

I was assigned to establish a visual language and overall style for the world map of a dark fantasy Tower Defence game.


Challenges I faced: Ensuring the continuity of style between various elements of the landscape, whilst differentiating specific features for game mechanics. Balancing a realistic scale of objects with an enjoyable player experience and cohesive visual language.


Solution: Pulling from my knowledge and experience in design I was able to find an effective and visually compelling concept that the Art director and his team would use as their KEY reference for the game’s environment.
